Originally the term or name „Solitaire“, as we all know, originates from the french language. By definition a piece of jewellery is entitled „Solitaire“ when it comes to a beautifully single
diamond ring. Moreover „Solitaire“ means as well striking and unique. How could it happen, that „unique“ turned into „common“ ?
Do we have to call a traditional engagement ring, a „Solitaire“ , nowadays a „Common-Ring“ ? Did he suddenly become normal or rather common?
Why do we accept, that this proof of love became common and take away its exceptionality? The tailor-made suit, fitting perfectly, has hopefully different measurements than the suit of your
colleague next door. With such a ring it is exactly the same. It should be as well tailor-made for the lady wearing it forever and ever.
The chosen diamond and the perfect mounting have to melt into a unity. Therefore a perfect ring has always to be designed „around“ the diamond and not the other way round. Like the mentioned
tailor-made suit also the finished jewel has to fit perfectly both - the lady and the diamond.
As you know, the „Diamond-Solitaire“ is followed by the „Wedding-Ring“ .
A wedding ring should always form a perfect and homogenious unit together with the engagement ring. Nowadays the ladies prefer to wear both rings together on the dame finger and just because of
the aesthetic it much more beautiful if both rings can be worn seamless.
It is really not a miracle, but has to be considered from the beginning. A true jeweller will always be glad to present you the right solution. If you take yo time while choosing the right
„Solitaire-Ring“ and of course the competent partner for the realization, then……..
Then I can ensure you again the proudly outstretched hand with the friends and everlasting joy. The „Solitaire“ should get back the right to shine and he should get back the glory it deserves.
Just listen to the lady of your heart and gladly take advice - completely without obligation.
